Take Action to Save the Post Office

Send us your photo, video or written story about your favorite postal carrier

Heard the story about the Post Office? It’s uplifting, heroic and hopefully without an end. We’re telling that story here. You can too. We’ve launched the People’s Postal Rescue Campaign to help Americans reconnect with the essential postal workers and local post offices that bring us together, building community, continuity and friendships — through rain, sleet and COVID-19.

Why it Matters

For 55 cents, you can mail a letter across the country. Thanks, USPS! That same letter, sent through a private carrier, costs over 16 times more. Yet now, politicians want to privatize the USPS. Can we afford to take away the livelihoods of over 600,000 postal workers? To threaten voting by mail? To place higher costs on small businesses and endanger patients who rely on the postal service to receive vital medications? No, we can’t.

We’re the Greenhorns

Greenhorn noun | \ ˈgrēn-ˌhȯrn  \

A newcomer (as to a country) unacquainted with local manners and customs.

We are filmmakers, journalists and communicators. Seasoned veterans all, we share a curiosity and drive to direct our collective skills, experience and passions to advance the fight for a better world. As a first step, we’re helping to rescue the U.S. Postal Service.
